Micronet uses the Freight master file to automatically calculate freight on sales orders. Freight codes are assigned to debtor delivery addresses. The freight calculated at invoice time may be manually edited before processing invoices.
The Freight File Update screen below shows an example of a freight code where freight is calculated based on the weight of the order at $6.00 for the first 10 kg and then at $0.50 per kg after that.
